BioCare Baby BioFlora is a specialist powder providing LAB4B live bacteria with prebiotic fibres GOS and FOS. BioCare states that the LAB4B complex was used in the Swansea Baby study and includes Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus paracasei and Lactobacillus salivarius. The formula provides a total of 10 billion live bacteria per daily intake, guaranteed until the end of shelf life if stored correctly. It is suitable from birth and can be applied directly into the baby’s mouth on a clean finger alongside a feed, or mixed into warm milk or food. BioCare states it is suitable for breast-fed and formula-fed babies from birth.

Directions

¼ teaspoon (approx. 1 gram) daily. Apply the powder directly into the baby’s mouth on a clean finger, alongside a feed. Can also be mixed into warm milk or food. Suitable from birth. Use within 2 months of opening.

Warnings

Allergen information - contains milk. If you are under medical supervision, please consult a doctor before use. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake. Keep out of reach of children. Do not purchase if the seal is broken. Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight and heat. Contains a desiccant to absorb moisture; BioCare recommends keeping this in the jar. Always use a dry spoon; powder may clump if exposed to excess moisture.
