Activon Manuka Honey Barrier Cream provides reliable protection against sweat, urine, stool, and wound exudate, maintaining its barrier effect for up to 24 hours.*

The formula is designed to assist with the prevention of Moisture Associated Skin Damage (MASD), it contains medical grade Manuka honey to reduce soreness and cocoa butter to aid with moisture retention.

* The cream will provide a moisture barrier for up to 24 hours, depending on wear and levels of leakage or incontinence. Reapply as frequently as required, based on clinical discretion.

Directions

• Ensure that the skin is clean and dry prior to application.
• Apply a thin, uniform coating over the whole area to be protected, or where the ostomy pouch, adhesive device or dressing will be applied. 
• Pea to Palm application: Use a pea sized amount of cream to cover an area approximately the size of your palm. Do NOT over-apply. 
• Remove any excess with a clean tissue.
•  If applicable, once fully dry, apply the ostomy pouch, adhesive device or dressing as normal.
• Reapplication is recommended as and when required. When used with adhesive dressings or devices, reapply at each dressing or device change.
