Dermatix is a clinically formulated silicone gel designed to address the visible effects of surgical scars, traumatic injuries, and burn marks. The gel works by creating an occlusive barrier that hydrates the scar tissue, promoting a smoother, flatter appearance whilst simultaneously reducing associated itching and discomfort. Its transparent, rapid-drying formula leaves no residue, making it ideal for application to prominent areas including the face, neck, and joints. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin and paediatric use, Dermatix integrates seamlessly into daily skincare routines. Optimal results typically emerge after consistent application over several months, as the silicone gradually conditions the scar tissue for sustained improvement.

Directions

Dermatix gel is very simple to apply and should be used at least twice a day:

• Clean the area to be treated with mild soap and water, pat dry.
• Cut the tip of the tube. Apply a very thin coat of Dermatix Gel on the scar immediately after the wound has healed and rub it in.
• Allow to dry for 4 – 5 minutes. If the gel has not dried, remove the excess product.

You can apply make-up over the Dermatix to cover scar.

The recommended minimum duration of treatment is two months. Continue to use Dermatix for as long as benefits are experienced.
