Hycosan Night Eye Ointment is a preservative-free vitamin A eye ointment specially formulated to provide intensive overnight relief for dry, irritated and itchy eyes. Designed to work while you sleep, this smooth ophthalmic ointment helps improve the tear film and protect the ocular surface, reducing discomfort caused by dryness, burning, foreign body sensation and environmental irritation.

Containing retinol palmitate (vitamin A), a natural component of the tear film, Hycosan Night blends well with the eye’s natural moisture layer to provide long-lasting lubrication and support comfortable eyelid movement across the eye surface. Its rich ointment texture forms a protective barrier, making it particularly suitable for people who wake with dry, sticky or uncomfortable eyes.

Unlike standard eye drops, Hycosan Night provides prolonged overnight protection with a preservative-free, phosphate-free formulation that is gentle on sensitive eyes. The thick consistency may temporarily blur vision, which is why it is best used at bedtime. Each 5g tube provides approximately 300 applications and can be used for up to 6 months after opening.

Directions

Apply a small strip of ointment into the space between the lower eyelid and the eye, ideally at bedtime. Tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid and apply a small amount without touching the tube tip to the eye or skin. Close the eye gently and blink normally. If using other eye medications, apply Hycosan Night at least 30 minutes afterwards.
