Nutramigen PURAMINO is an amino acid-based hypoallergenic formula for the dietary management of infants and children with severe cow’s milk allergy. It can be used as the sole source of nutrition from birth up to 6 months and as part of a weaning diet from 6 months onwards.

Directions
Follow the healthcare professional’s advice. Feeding amounts should be adjusted according to the needs of the infant or child. Only use the scoop provided in the tin. Add 1 level scoop (4.4g) to each 30ml of water.
Preparation
Wash hands thoroughly. Clean bottles, teats, caps and utensils by boiling in water for 10 minutes. Boil fresh water and leave it to cool for up to 30 minutes before mixing. Do not use softened water. Pour the desired amount of hot water into a clean sterile bottle, add the required number of level scoops, cap, roll and shake well until the powder dissolves completely. Check the temperature before feeding. Once prepared, feed immediately or cover and store in a refrigerator at 2–4°C for no longer than 24 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula, do not use if unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours, discard formula left in the bottle, and do not heat feeds in a microwave.
