Optrex bacterial conjunctivitis 1% w/w eye ointment is designed to treat bacterial infections of the external surface of the eye, thanks to chloramphenicol, an antibiotic used to fight bacteria. Acute bacterial conjunctivitis is the most prevalent kind of infection in this area, which results in redness, inflammation, and swollenness of the eyelids. Furthermore, one may experience a stubborn discharge that causes issues opening the eye in the morn and a feeling of irritation.

Directions

For adults, children aged 2 years and over. Dose: A small amount of ointment in the affected eye 3-4 times daily for 5 days.
